Half Screen/Mouse issue

Alright so I just installed Civ IV: Colonization today and when I start it up it only gives me half of the screen. By this I mean that if you were to take the full normal screen of what you are supposed to be seeing, I am only getting the left half on my screen. Whats more is that in the game menu, my mouse is off to the left 2-3 inches so I have to click in empty space to click the buttons. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You could go into options and turn off full screen. This should revert it back to windowed mode.
