Actually, Vuldacon, we got about an inch or more of snow, some of which is still on the ground. Our friends said that the trick or treaters that did show up were so bundled up that you could not see the costumes. Not your normal Halloween. Thanks for the post.

Yes it was Very Cold and got down to 18 F.

I remember Halloween evening being below 0 F. with much snow many years ago.

I don't get Trick or Treaters where I live and although I save money because I don't have to buy treats, I miss all of the young kids in their costumes.

The weather generally warms up again after Halloween and that has started today.

All Saints’ Day. “Halloween” is a corruption of “Hallowe’en”, that is, “All Hallows’ Eve”, because it is simply the day before All Saints’ Day, which was originally the main festival at this time.

I’m very jealous of people with snow on the ground. It almost never snows here, even in the depths of winter. Everything just gets muddy.

Plotinus... The Winters have become warmer and there is not as much snow as 35 years ago and especially when I was very young.
