Harry Turtledove's Alternate History WWI Development Thread

WHOA!! Epic crosspost is epic.

Are you Alice, Blue Monkey?

Nah, he's always been on that side of the mirror :D
( :joke: )
:goodjob: Those who have been around long enough may have seen my diatribe on being left-handed. A careful examination of the famous mirror transition illos by Tenniel will reveal that she is left-handed prior to the transition & maintains her handedness afterward. And those of us who share that state need visuals to valorize.

UPDATE:::!

Here is my first draft of a possible WWI tech screen. Tell me what you think. The tech that says German Aid/British and French Aid is a different tech for both the USA and CSA.

Although I'm a Civ 4 guy, I consider myself a mini expert on HT's Southern Victory Timeline. IF you need any help reaserching with Territory or a background check, ect. I'm your man. Just PM me or post here, and I'll get to it.

One thing about the tech tree: River Gunboats are basicly monitors from the War of Secession, so they should start out as being already in use, rather then having to be researched. In it's place, you could put battleships, and where battleships are now you could put destroyers. Also, Aircraft Carriers need to be implimented, as the Rememberance came into play slightly towards the end of the war.

Just My Two Cents, and if you want researchin help into the story line, just let me know.

I am slowly working on this, so give me a chance everyone.

Lean, your point about the monitors makes sense, thanks, and I had completely forgotten about the Rememberance :wallbash:, though wasn't that not used in WWI, but was sunk during the battles of WWII? I'm having a hard time trying to remember the Rememberance!

Oh, yeah, and here's to the year's aniversary of this thread being started! :dance:
Though still nothing much has happened...forgive me...
