Hi there,

Haven't played the game for quite a few months and with the news of the upcoming patch i have a few questions,

Does the Ai thank you instead of hating you for liberating their capital cities yet? if not will that be addressed in the upcoming patch?

Has any way of winning the game as a partner with another nation been implemented or is in the upcoming patch?

Is it possible to build trade routes to other civilizations now instead of just within your own borders?

Does open borders serve any purpose now other than letting the enemy AI see what units you have? does it grant a trade/friendship bonus or something?

Have wonder video's been introduced or are they a part of the upcoming patch?

Do AI leaders still plant a city next to you miles away from their capital and get mad at you for the resulting border tension?

Does the AI still get bonuses on Prince/Normal difficulty?

Is it possible to have a good relationship with a Civ that is next to you?

I haven't liberated a capital in a while so can't answer that.

Don't play mp so not sure.

This will probably never be implemented. Would allow gpt to get too high. And would you really want to give the AI that mush extra gpt boost?

Open borders have never served any purpose other than to allow you and your opponents to travel through eachother's territory so this will probably never change.

No.

Yes.

I never knew it got bonuses on normal. No clue if anything has changed.

Is it possible to have a good relationship with a Civ that is next to you?

Yes but it's difficult due to the close borders tension. And quite often they will be friendly with you and attack you anyway. Then still be friends with you afterward.

Of course open borders had other functions; mainly, increasing one's GPT by trade routes. And yes, of course we are willing to give an AI extra GPT by establishing a trade route; we also get extra GPT!

You seem to be in the mindset of a conqueror who doesn't ever try to win peacefully (or, to not win at all and simply enjoy yourself).
