Hello all first time poster, long time lurker.
An idea came to me, what if there was a civilization in Civ VI that had no unique attributes or instead they had bad ones.
I assume the initial reaction would be that it sounds stupid; but I'm thinking in the vein of Dan from Street Fighter, or the purposeful terrible classes from the Dark Souls series. The idea is to have a civ that is on purpose the worst civ and it's done so to give the player an extra challenge. Basically, one could brag that they beat Deity with this civ.
I would assume the biggest hurdle to this idea would be picking a civ to be purposefully the worst. So what do you think? Good or bad idea. For fun, share what civ you think would fit this bill.
My example (all for fun, no offense)
Civ: Canada
Leader: Mackenzie Bowell
Leader Ability: Lonely Funiral - Canada gains pop slower than normal
UA: O'Canada - All civs will stay neutral with Canada as they are indifferent towards it. This includes trade.
UU: Mountie - damages itself when attacks, apologizes to enemy unit for inflicting injury.
