well ive been getting ideas from all the mods. like starting with a stone age spearman and getting the warrior unit with warrior code making him 2/1/1 and the changing the archer to the hunter starting off with him at 1/1/1 and upgrading it to longbow in either the bronze or iron age. after i get somewhere it will be easier for me to show you my line of thought. if i can lol.....havent tried the tech tree yet.
 
ill try it out tonite SoG and see how it works. there were a couple of other things i wanted to point out that arent errors. when i got upto republic the other techs were running 5 to 8 turns to get but republic was like 36. you have monarchy listed as a tech that is not nessary but you have to have it to get currency which is listed as having to have to finish the era. the chariot instead of upgrading to the horseman goes to the caurisser. the horseman skips the knight and upgrades to the lancer. also the units in horsemanship are only for a few civs right? shouldnt there be a general unit for all the other civs.

how did you make that title page and change your map graphics they look awsome
 
Nope. Happened that way historically to, with the Mongols and Xioung-Nu and other steppe peoples. I would like to have a unit for Horsemanship that everyone can build, other than the civs with flavor units or UU there. In the new patch, Monarchy and Currency are both needed to finish the era. However, Republic is not. Republic was a unusual concept in the ancient world, thats why I made it so expensive. With Philociphy, if you have researched it first, it is one of the techs you can get. ;)

I'll wait for our friend Coltrane before I patch things again, just so he has some time to absorb the changes I've implemented into his biq. Then, when he uploads it, we will have the combined ultimate biq, which I will then apply Bjorn's ideas to...

Next patch will have the Gradius and hopefully Vbraun's hovercraft, as well as one or two other hovercraft units.
 
hmmm i see your point i was just looking at the editor and i didnt know the upgrade was set at 50%. i was hoping we could set the % upgrade ourselves and i was going to set it low. so maybe a market place or bazaar in the 1st age then bank 3rd age and stock exchange 4th. i just dont see banks before the end of the 2nd or begining of the 3rd.

i think a forge tech around the bronze or iron working tech would be good. adding 1 to production and being required for the following military upgrades like pikemen and knights and medival infantry.

im still in the ancient period so i havent looked at the other 3 eras much yet.
 
I try to change things when I add them, its conveniant that way if you know what I mean Grey. But I have a bad habit of not going back and changing things after I've done something to the biq, meaning the civilipedia has some outdated information... :(
