Heart of Destiny

I looked at the ini and the animation files(flcs) but I did not find anything wrong with them. I can only gather that since nothing is wrong in the Pediaicons, Biq, or the ini, that it is the unit itself that is the problem...

Only thing I can do to fix this, is to get new graphics for the unit. I happen to know of one of Kinboat's units that would do the job.

amb? Civ3 uses two types of sound files, amb, and wav I believe.

Heres something for you Greywolf. This should let you continue from where you were in the middle ages:

Just put the foldier in the units foldier(Conquests/Scenerios/Far Horizons/Art/Units

and the Civilipedia large and small(BelgianLarge and BelgianSmall) go into Far Horizons/Art/Civilipedia/Units

i figured out what the problem with the original resistor was. everything inside the folder was right but you changed the spelling on the folder from ending with or to er and in the pedialcons it was looking for resistor. i noticed cause the one you just gave me didnt over right the other folder. i changed the spelling on the folder and tried it out and it worked.

ive been trying to play today but keep getting my ass kicked. i noticed in the game that every civ that starts with potery spreads out quickly and becomes very strong. they are the ones wiping me out. not sure why but all the other civs seemed to get crushed by them, the mongols are particularly fond of destroying other civs and always get really big real quick. nothing wrong with this i just find it odd that only the civs with potery seem to do well.

i noticed one small thing wrong....it doesnt really affect game play but on the tech tree masonary doesnt have any connection to construction. its probally cause in the prerequisists of construction the first slot is empty and the second one has masonary.

well if you want to give the settler to the other civs quicker but keep america a little ahead with the pioneer, why not give america domestication as a starting tech. that way they can have the pioneer from the start, provided they have horses.

i guess id have to start a new game to see if the change for the pirate galley took cause i just got another merc when i took down a ship. i also just relized a real disadvantage to the pioneer vs the regular settler. im now near an area of the map that is almost entireling mountains, swamps and jungle. i cant settle any of it because the pioneer is a wheeled unit and cant travel those areas. i can clear jungle and swamp to make a place for them but it really slows down the expansion at this point. course i guess its fair gives the other civs that are still around a chance to catch up.

Any change made to the biq itself won't take affect unless you restart a game. If you change anything outside the biq it will affect all current game. Only a biq change requires a game restart.

Wonder how that happened with the Pirate Galley? Thanks a ton for playing Greywolf..I'm going to try to make a unit today, then I'm going to go over Bjorn's and Coltrane's ideas and attempt to implement them(flavor buildings and religions for all civs, space exploration etc.)

I'm also considering doing something to Barbarians to make them the feared force they were in history. Like Ambious attacking units...
