Help a newbie set up a post patch game

So, I spent all yesterday researching and downloading the best mods and today started a game and worked on it all morning....

Then the patch autoinstalled after I took a break.

So I don't know what to do. Can't play the old game.

Do I wait until NEW mods come out (or newer versions)? Will any of the old mods work?

I'm completely lost in how to set up a game now.

I think that most of the big modders will update their mods to be compatible with the latest patch. So, I would wait 2-3 days if I were you.

That said, you could start an unmodded new game and see how it feels post patch.
