how in the world to you move diagnal???i didnt get an instruction booklet with my game so i dont know how to move diagnal!!!its really makin me mad..there are always units and citys that i cant move on to....a little help please??

Use the number keys at the right of the keyboard. 7, 1 ,9, 3 are the keys for diagonal movement. Or you can just use your mouse and drag a unit to the desired location.

i remember having this problem playing civ 1...when i was 7.
