It should also be able to establish a Science Golden Age but this feature is "broken".

As vmxa already stated, you're probably going to get the colossus anyway, so using your leader to rush it is probably a waste. The only exception to this is if you KNOW several other civs are also working on it and think they may be one turn ahead of you and if you really, really need that wonder.
