Help me formulate a plan of attack

Hi,

Things have been going so far so good, but now I am having some trouble formulating an exact plan of attack.

Inca have only a few cities on my island. And a boatload of wonders. Which I would like to pick up.

Sadly, before I could do that first Wang Kon, and then Catherine (who vasalled Wang Kon) decided to annoy me. I had large militaries at all times so I was able to fight them back, but that let the Aztec get all the way to rifling.

So, is it still possible to attack them, when, what do I have to keep in mind when I try (how do I get rid of city defences? Cannons are tough given he has Heavy Horsemen and Cavaltires?), and, how will it reflect the game end?

How exactly do I do it?
If I try walking up to Tiwanaku now, he'll chip away at my army along the way, and I'll meet rifles there and a wall that's tough to get down. If I get 3-4 cannons first, is it doable?
I have 3-4 trebs, 8 horsemen and a doc, and something like a dozen bows ready to go.

Here is what I want

This is the military advisor

His main stack, in Cuzco, is 1 rifle, 3 cannons, 3 trebs, and 11 longbows+crossbows. Plus 2x elephant.
All other cities have something like 1 rifle and 3 longbows.

I can ignore his pact with Toku for the most part, although I'll need a few troops on my western wing.

I have also included the save. It is far from clean, I did forget things at a few times and reloaded when that happened.
It's in BAT mod.

So, strat moving on? And exact plan of possible attacks?

Quiet some things here i dun understand ;)
Serfdom, but your workers are partly doing stuff that suggests they are automated?

Attack plans are usually mounted or siege + x.
Cannons for example would do most of the work, and other units are there to protect them & clean up.
While mounted would work alone without slower units, so they can make use of speed.
Usually we expect losing many of them, but it's worth it cos we also can reach our war goals quicker.

You did research techs for both, Mil. Tradition and Grennies.
Now you (of course :)) have troubles with an attack plan, as you start realizing hmm..i need either cannons or better mounted in Cavs.
And i am a bit late now, many units have great attack windows that can be closed again thou.

When moving up to Immortal (and even more so deity, much bigger step) it's important using your empire resources in focused ways.
Resources meaning production (slavery or hammers), commerce, diplo & trading. (not copper or pigs;))
It's better switching between war & peace times in the same way we use our sliders..100% or 0%.
All cities on units or other stuff (any buildings, wonders, wealth..).
Will highlight this cos it's so important..you should never build a Cuir or Grennie and a Customs House or Temple at the same time.
(also Cuir & Grennie do not compliment each other, as mentioned)

What jobs do you think workers should not be doing? I think I maybe have one automated, and the guy really did go for forts, I know.
In general, though, it's cottages and mines, with a farm here or there where a city lacks food. I do that pretty much from the beginning like that.

What do you do with city defenses if you go for cavs as a mounted attack? Ie, would you in this position I have use spies?
In general, by the time cavs pop up enemies have +80% easily.

Which route would you suggest here, go for max cannons or go for max cavs?

And thank you very much for your thoughts!

Why building temples when you can simply whip away all those angry layabouts? If you just get Steel from Justinian, switch to slavery and whip ~10 cannons and some more cuirs and grenadiers, that would solve all you military and happipness issues.
BTW, if give Wang Kon Military science he will trade with you.

As suggested ^^^ , get steel, get a big army and get it quick This is a now or never moment in the game.
HC just built christo, which means he has Radio and is far, far ahead of you. Good thing he is still vulnerable to an attack from you. If you manage to take over his core cities and vassalize him, you can turn thiss all around and milk those techs from him.

Note that you are in a GA, so you are free to switch to slavery without anarchy.

General tip (cannot see if you do this):
It's a good habit to develop one city to produce many hammers (= farms/food + mined hills), build Heroic Epic there early AD's (or sooner) and then produce non-stop units there regardless of the situation in your empire. Siege is always good or else the best unit of the moment. Sooner or later you will have ''the muscles'' to attack anyone you like or threatens your victory. If necessary halt tech progress temporarily to upgrade units.
Imagine the army you would have by now after >1000 years units production..........(I think you would have invaded someone sooner, which would pay out the extra upkeep)

Thank you all very much for your replies!

I've learned a lot, on attacking as well as on gameplay in general.
