Help! My Animals are Pink! (SOLVED)

So I have been converting some zoo tycoon 2 animals into wild animals for civ4. However in doing so some appear with pink skin. In the NIF viewer I can see their texture but in game they are pink.

Here is an unsuccessful Cassowary.

While this is a successful whale.

Can anyone help me figure out why some are fine while others show up pink even when I have the right texture so i can show up in the NIF viewer?

Its not a flamingo. Its a Cassowary, and its suppose to look like this.

Moderator Action: Moved to the main forum and merged with existing thread.

Did you check if the textures itself are okay, in the right format? I think some .dds types don't work that well.

And did you check in Nifscope, if they are referenced right? Not that maybe the absolute path is mentioned, so that the game can't find it anymore after moving the folder.


EDIT: Then please tell us, what has been this problem? Maybe someone else will later stumble upon the same problem, and will then see your thread, but no solution.

Ah, okay .
