Help need for timeline from -2200 BC to 1820 AD

I'd say its association with them is enough for it to become symbolic of them. If it can be symbolic in Roman eyes, as you said yourself, I think it can be symbolic in the eyes of the player just as well. Two triskels might be less interesting, and while they might be marginally more historically accurate, they might also, equally marginally, adversely affect gameplay.

Well, I'm not sure that a torc carries the same associations today which it did in Republican Rome, and, as I said, the symbol may not be readily legible when depicted in isolation. If noting else, it would be no more evocative of Celtic Britain than a triskel, and perhaps less than the Uffington horse, having passed into history as a generically "Celtic" item.

I'd rather use something that could be found on a flag, a signal, or carved as a symbol than something which is worn.

I don't use leaderheads, but flags. The horse or a triskel seems more adapted than a torc.

Torc would be OK as a prop for a leaderhead
