I am having problems with the game. No matter how many times I install it or uninstall it, it does not give me the proper resources - particularly for bonus resources. Example. Wheat only provides a food bonus of 1 instead of the two its suppose too. Wine does not provide any food bonus at all. The only time Wheat provides the bonus of two, is when its located in a flood plain and that is only because the flood plain is suppose to provide 3 food, but it only does it when there is a wheat present. All the rest of the time the flood plain only provides two food. The bottom line is that the bonus resources never add as much as they are suppose too. Do you know what the problem is.
Help - its is frustrating as hell. I tried to change the rules through the rules editor. But the changes would never stick. You would do everything they tell you to do and nothing would happen. All they say is save it as a bic file, which I assume it does when you hit save, but not counting on that I saved it as Civ3Mod.bic and that had no effect. Do you know how I can change the rules. I figured it out with Civ 3 basic but not the Atari version. I can even find the rules file I am suppose to overight. I removed every Civ3mod file from the directory and it had no effect on the game so I do not know where the actually rules file is located.
If you could help me with either problem that would be great.
