Hess1 PBEM

Having played C3C for many years I have recently decided to join in some of the community games (SG, PBEM). I tried to get involved with a smallish PBEM but it appears to have died before it started. Since this one died, I want to start my own, as I know that I will be committed to it. I tend to play evening times, from about 8pm GMT (BST at the moment though) onwards but am able to check the forums most of the day on my phone browser. I am fully aware of the time required to play these games, and am looking forward to the challenge.

This is the game I propose, but if the settings aren't great then I am happy to change them before I start.

Size: Standard
Type: Continents, 60% Water
Climate: Warm, wet, 3 Billion years
No of human players: 4-8 depending on responses
No of AI: 0-4 depending on preferences

Civs any (AI random)

Accelerated production (as suggested by Lanzelot)

As Duskwind's game apparently is dead, I would also like to join up here.

I'll stick with the Dutch.

Two suggestions: will we use accellerated production? I vote yes.
And in case the other players from the Duskwind game (Cyc, xakzen, Hawklord) want to join as well, let's make it 6 human players instead of 4. All these players are reliable, quick-responding PBEMers, so that won't increase the turn-around time much.

Agreed, and accelerated production is a good shout. I'm all for that. Will wait for the other players to respond before adding them to the roster.

EDIT: I am able to start tonight at 7-8pm GMT. If people pm their location for time they can play we can work out a roster that is fairly efficient. Also PM me your e-mail, and your preference for 0, 1 or 2 AI if you haven't already and I'll send round a master roster for everyone. If I don't get all the PMs then I obviously won't start!

If you change the settings from above, I might change my civ. Byzantines on pangea would not make much sense...
