Been checking out the SDK/Pantry GFX files & found a couple of "discarded" assets.
Not sure if there are explicit reasons why Firaxis decided *not* to join these into the formal "Big-Moment" framework (they currently both are simply processed via the "small" principles) but to me... it's a good opportunity for some skilled (and interested by such customizing tasks) modders to try integrating these nice images for what they're really worth artistically.
Manhattan Project & Operation Ivy
I feel some other projects & events would deserve this sort of indirect hacking step too.. Wonders (now up to 48 since GS), Final Elimination of Civs including last city, etc.
Something to consider if the above two ever get to be modded--in, i guess.
