Traits:

Possible traits for Finubar
Spoiler :

'Seafaring'--- Finubar is reknown as 'The Seafarer', as he traversed the globe, from nippon, to Lustria, the estalia, and albion. he has mapped most of the globe well beyond the borders of the old world, and has colonised many distant lands. as such, this trait is suitable.
---Gives Ships +1 movement,
---gives costal cities +1 commerce in all water squares.

'Trader'--- Finubar traded indescriminatly with all races that he met, while in his sea travels. he should get 1 free trade route for every city built, and every time a rival initiates a friendly trade agreemen, there should be some money offered regardless.

'Tolerant'--- Finubar is the most adaptable phoenix king of Ulthuan, which is especially needed in these changing times. he is the most tolereant of the mortal races ignorance and enjoys their compay. he should get a positive relations bonus with all human and 'good' mortal races. he should aslo get some form of benefit from the later eras. not sure though.

Possible traits for Aenarion:
Spoiler :

'Martyr'---Aenarion attempted to sacrifice himself to the High Elf Patron deity Asuryan, if he would save the Elven race from the Chaos hords. he threw himself in the raging inforno in the Shrine of Asuryan, and instead of being burnt alive, he emerged as a mortal God. His new form was awe inspiring, and his physical prowess encouraged his followeres to fight doubly feroceously against the evil forces sackign the High Elves gloryous lands. thus This trait shoud give all units a promotion which gives them a bonus of some sort against the evil civilisations.

'Arcane'--- Aenarion married the stunningy beautiful Everqueen Astarielle, who is one of the most magically powerful beings in Elven History, second only to Teclis and Allarielle. As such, as he has command of the external relations, and miliatary forces, his bride controls the internal occurrences of the state by Aenarion's side. As such, she has considerable influence over his decisions. Also, Aenarion is the Phoenix king who ordered the creation of the Vortex, which stabalised the worlds Magic.
This trait is thus suitable for Aenarion, even though he, himself was not naturally magical.
--- Givs magical units the 'Dispel I' promotion for free
--- adds +10% research to the civ.

'Defender'--- Aenarion is reknown as 'the Defender', because he defended Ulthuan from the Chaos invasion and many many Dark Elf raids.
--- the same as the Woodelves Homland trait

Unique Buildings:
-Some special building which gives increased culture output. possibly 'Hall of the Arts'?

Special:
Citizen Levy- militia units spawning from village improvements if enemys are nearby.
Elven Enmity- High Elves don't hate Dark Elves, they have just resolved to oppose their evil brethren with a steely determination. as such they can retry failed psychology tests against them.

Monster III: Emperor Dragon(hope we get Dragonriders some day)

That's no problem. I can easily do those. I'm hoping that if I can get people (Woodelf, yourself?) to start making the more basic humanoid units by following my tutorial, I'll be free to work on some of the more elaborate models like dragons, hydras, ents, etc.

The Highelfarmy is almost complete. I'm just missing Mages, a Boltthrower, Ancient Chariot, White Lions, Dragonprinces, Missionaries, better Settlers and Characters(ok still a lot to do). I'm currently working on the Tiranoc Chariot but must confess I got out of practice so this will take some more time. With exception to the Bolthtrower and Mages I believe those are just Nifeditjobs so no problem you can focus on Monsters;)
Edit: and of course we need ships...

Well, i think the main thing we need to focus on first is the traits and what they do for both leaders. I want them to be different. (speaking of which whay are all the leaders of each civ identical???? there is no diversity within civs in that respect.)

Possible traits for Finubar

As such, she has considerable influence over his decisions. Also, Aenarion is the Phoenix king who ordered the creation of the Vortex, which stabalised the worlds Magic.
This trait is thus suitable for Aenarion, even though he, himself was not naturally magical. this should give magic uses some benefit or other, and perhaps also give free mage city specialists in some cities.
'Defender'--- Aenarion is reknown as 'the Defender', because he defended Ulthuan from the Chaos invasion and many many Dark Elf raids. not sure what this could do.

These are just ideas by the way;)

Alright I like that.
Martyr and Tolerant will need the implementation of alignments first. Trader is possibly well of with Financial(will rename) now but could be changed in that direction later. Arcane currently only gives researchbonus but should give special boni with magic later like increaed damage or duration for spells.

The creativity of Highelves could be reflected by unique buildings with produce higher culture(slightly) than normal.(I will keep trait creative until we coded the necessary mechanics for Martyr and Tolerant though)

Seafaring and Defender are already fully in game.

just a quick question: have we decided on how the High Elves special rule "Citizen levy" will work? im not sure if i mentioned it before, i think i did.

if not these are a few things i think i could do:
All villages/cottages improvements have a chance of spawning militia units if enemys are nearby, similar to the treemen spawning in FFH. it could also also give milita units a special promotion giving them an extra first strike to symbolise thier better proficiency with thier weapons then normal militia.

and also about the "Elven Enmity" rule for the High Elves? this could make High Elves able to reroll their psychology tests against the Dark elf civ if they fail the first time.

The letter should be covered by hatred psychology.
Darkelves should hate Highelves and the other way round. That reminds me that goblin should get disadvantes fighting Highelves.

Olleus idea about the levy should also be on the to do list yes.
