High score not recorded

A few weeks ago I added several mods to C3Conquests, and since then my high scores are not recording. The mods are Rhys colors and JJansens improved borders, that's it. I reloaded the game a few days ago, patched to 1.22 and added the mods back, and still no luck.

Normally I could care less about posting a high score, but recently moved up a level of difficulty to Emporer so would like to track my progress in game.

Anyone else had this problem from loading mods, or have any suggestions on how to fix this?

If you're playing from a scenario - you've put your files in the 'Scenarios' folder - then several features of the game are missing. No city view, no palace build, no man with the hammer etc. Also no high score. The game is playing from a diiferent biq.

You could play with graphic mods like Rhyes colours and JJansen borders mod while retaining all these features, but then you have to replace the original graphic files and play from the original biq. That isn't a big problem if you know where the files are you have to replace, except with Rhyes colours I don't know whether he has only changed the files that hold the colours or whether he has also swapped colours between civs using the biq. file.

If you're using Vista or Win7 there may be mod files still lurking in VirtualStore that take effect again when you reinstall. Look under C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Infrogames Interactive\ and see if the mod files are lingering there. If so, delete them.

Thanks for the responses. I'm on old timer still running WinXP (it ain't broke, so I didn't "fix" it with upgrades). I replaced the .biq file when loading Rhy's colors, so that must be it. I'll reload the original file from the CD and hope that fixes the problem.

You could just edit the scores into the HighScores..cv3 with notepad.

format:
leader name A nnnnn B C D
A = the civ race counting from the list shown in the hall of fame. That is 22 would be Arabs.
B = level counting Chief as 0.
C = type of vic/loss
VictoryType: Domination(0), Conquest(1), Cultural(2), Diplomatic(3), Spacerace(4), Retired(5), Histograph(6)
D = 1 means won 0 or 2 means lost

nnnnn is your final score.
