I like the history that Civ gives you for the different civilizations... But I am really lazy and wish that got some classy person to have read for listening. Ofcourse this shouldn't be automated... That would probably get annoying. Rather click and listen.

I don't know.. I think it would be kewl to hear Leonard Nimoy or something.... Hes got a kewl voice for that kinda stuff :D

OMG Oni, that is the laziest suggestion I've ever heard. I love it just for that reason. But why not have a female voice, theyre much more pleasant to listen to, in my opinion.

This isn't a bad idea, but localization would be a pain.

Female voices are used for airplanes and tech support. If you want someone to read you a history lesson, it must be the voice of an old man with a bust of Aristotle on his desk and a heavy British accent.

Yes now that would be much better.

Wait, I'm confused . . . so you're basically just asking for audio clips of people reading the Civilopedia out loud, right? I guess I don't see the point. It would be an awful waste of time and money that would be better spent elsewhere. And if you're that lazy, just have someone come over and read it to you.

If they did hire someone to read the Civilopedia out loud, however, I'd want it to be Kelsey Grammer.

John Cleese, especially if they let him add in his own sense of humor.

Yes there is little point... But it would still be kewl :) Sometimes its those simple things that add no strategy or depth to the game.... But add flavor that make you love it :D
Take Alpha Centari for example.... The game had some qualities... But overall it was a catastrphe compared to Civ3 (or even Civ2 IMO)... But it was still sometimes fun to play. I am not saying cause of the Audio clips... But they surely gave it flavor.
