Historical Spawn Dates

This is a first pre-alpha version of my Historical Spawn Dates mod.

It should make major Civilization spawn (a city) at the date set in HistoricalSpawnDates.sql (CS spawn immediately)

There is a small balance pass to give some gold, techs and civics to a spawning Civilization based on what the previous Civilizations have researched.

It's very basic at the moment, no check before spawning if the position is already taken, no units are given on spawn.

add dummy buildings to give era scaled bonuses in every cities of later spawning civilizations

It's fine, I'm happy I stumbled upon this! If you need a tester for anything give me a shout! I'd love to help test it out.

Noticed that you can't kill off any Civs, I captured Persia's only settler and he didn't die. (he didn't manage to spawn, I assume I had city in his spawning location, this was on Firaxis' TSL map).

I'll test it in Hotseat (even if it lags like HELL) and see what comes up :3
 
I tried a game as France on YeNAMP (or whatever it is called, I never remember XD) on standard speed using the greatest map (despite the name it's not the biggest, in fact it's quite small).
25 civs in game and it took almost 2 hours to load until 400AD. That's not even the problem. When I started playing turns would take almost 2 minutes to pass and most of the civs had yet to spawn.

Do you think disabling barbarians will improve performance?
 
Yes, try without them, they spawn based on the number of total civs in game, even for the civs that have not spawned yet.

Not sure how to handle that in a vanilla mod (I'll control the spawn in my total conversion)
 
Tried the same setup without barbarians: total loading time ~ 20 min. Much better!
Now let's just hope the next patch will fix this ._.

By the way, I have a suggestion: could you add a function that allow player to switch civ? for example: if I want to play America I can first play Egypt and then switch to America when the turn for America comes.

I'm happy to do it, but I have a problem, I opened the fire tuner and there is nothing in the lua console dropdown menu and I have edited the EnableTuner 0.

I open the world builder but I could not load a saved game nor can I see any saved game in the menu.

I do not have the "SDK for civ6". By SDK what do you refer to?
