LOL! Well, the strategy supposed to use by Hitler is a noob one, obviously even if you start a custom game with cultural victory only or space victory only, this doesn't mean you can forget to create an army. Obviously an opponent could decide to destroy you if you are getting close to the objective (eg. if you have 2 cities with legendary culture and one with a good one, or in a case of a space race victory if you are faster than the opponents creating the ship) or just to decide to eliminate a rival... Great armies are always a MUST, no matter the victory condictions selected =).
