ThyHm, I guess I hadn't put that out there, yet. Should work now. I can't guarantee that you will be able to open what you download. Depends on whether you have all the DLC that the player had.

It takes us a certain amount of time to vet games. Check "My Submissions". If you game shows a unchecked then we haven't accepted it yet. If it shows as accepted the you should be able to see your game in the gauntlet if you are signed in.how often is the status updated on in progress gauntlets? somewhere it said your current rank should show up before the competition is over.
Well technically the medals would be metal, so... I think I have stamped out that particular typo.also, i noticed hovering over the icons it says "bronze metals" "silver metals." while those are metals, typically medals are awarded
Patience. It is taking more time with Civ5 than with Civ4. We have alot more to look at without a mod to help us out. Give us at least 24-36 hrs. Remember we will always e-mail if there is an issue.Just curious, how long is the backlog on submission checking? I submitted one yesterday morning, still listed as Unchecked, just wondering if it's just that many entries or if perhaps I did it wrong.

Oh, I wasn't upset or anything. I was merely trying to determine if I made an error. I've never submitted anything for Civ4, so I had no clue what the timetable was.
Also, Game Submissions aren't published until the update. The 1st and 15th of the Month for Civ V. So, why the rush to have a Game Submission checked? Also, the HoF does their best to check all pending Game Submissions before the Update. They have done a great job in this respect for Civ IV; I don't think they would do any less for Civ V as long as they can reasonably help it.
We might need to add the spanish words for the victory conditions and time played to our parser program if we don't already have them. But that shouldn't be any problem once see the save file.- I'm running the game on Spanish. Does this affect anything when I upload my files?
Your save files are located in your "My Games" folder. Please review the submission requirements on the HOF Rules page.- Where do I find the files I'd want to upload?
(Note: NOT a complaint about timliness of checking, just an observation ...Also, Game Submissions aren't published until the update. The 1st and 15th of the Month for Civ V. So, why the rush to have a Game Submission checked?
zip them.(Note: NOT a complaint about timliness of checking, just an observation ...) One reason I can see why a game getting accepted quickly is useful is that you then don't have to keep the autosaves any longer. Civ 5 doesn't seem to name them very specifically by default, so it will overwrite the old autos if you don't go into the old autos and start renaming them (or at least it looks that way to me). Now, if someone has a solution that puts unique names on the autos, then I'd agree no rush at all on the checking.

I never noticed that before. I will have to check with the powers-that-be.I notice that the Civ V drop down menu at the very top of the forum screen does not yet have a hall of fame option in the menu (or a GOTM option, for that matter). Is that simply a "Round Tuit" issue, or is there some programing reason it can't be done yet? (Just curious, I am happy to be patient)

I dont get why 'save promotions' is allowed but 'save policy' is not.
Could someone clearify this for me?
