HOF SITE IS DOWN TEMPORARILY

Thunderfall is working to migrate the HOF site to a new server. It may be down for at least a couple of days. We will let you know when it is back up.

Unfortunately it's going to be more than a few days as we were not warned in advance of this change and we need to accelerate the replacement of the site with a more modern version :-(

It's landed on a week I'm already heavily committed but I will see what I can do.

Apologies for the delay, I ended up out of things for a while due to family issues. I hope to have the basic site set up by the end of the month.

No worries. It can't be fun to have two high-stress events going on at the same time. Hope everyone is all right.

End of the month is better than I expected. I was kind of starting to think we'd be looking at another month or two.

Same question, is there anything we can do to help? Adding games to my CIV 4 HOF is really a big plus to playing this game for me.

I hope to have the basic site set up by the end of the month.

I do have this set up however we have hit a big issue in terms of being able to run the code that analyses games on the new Server, a group of us are progressing this as we best we can but if anyone has expertise in running 32 bit applications on 64 bit Servers please shout!

Do you have more details? I work in software, but this is outside my area of expertise. A quick google tells me that allowing a 32 bit application to run on a 64 bit server can be just a matter of making use of a configuration setting. But I'm assuming you're deeper into the problem and that either this isn't an option, or it hasn't resolved the issue.

I'm trying to get more, challenge is it's a managed Server so we are a bit limited, I might have to migrate it to one of my own with more control. It's Linux so it should just be a question of installing the right 32bit libraries.

It often happens. Sounds like your problem isn't actually technical, it's human. Getting someone to give you the access you need to implement your fix.
