Hoping to find and original copy of civ1!

I am looking for a copy of Civ 1, I believe what is being sought after is the first edition, before "Call to power".

I am doin' this for someone else, so it's just a shot!

Read http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=71399 Civ1 (Dos and Windows versions) came first and are hard to find, but sometimes turn up. It is not legal to download copies of this game. It is not free.

Sheesh, we are getting an influx in people wanting it for free. Surely, if they *really* wanted it they would buy it.

Since it's hard to find and a lot of floppies don't work anymore, they should think about giving it away...it might get some new players hooked on the series.

Plus, they could include something about what features are in Civ 2, 3, and 4 that the gamer might like.
