Hoq do u add new civs to the game

i see all these downloads showing the civilzations but no explanation which says how i can install it
Do i have to put it into some kind of folder or sumthing

You can check out the Tutorials forum to see if there are any guides to installation. Usually, the mod comes with a readme to help with installation. Welcome to CFC, ntf1992!

You need to be a lot more specific.. some are stand-alone mods, some are modular and need to be added-into the game... it just depends.

My own mod includes Austria and Poland added to the game, and just needs to be dropped into the MOD folder then go to "advanced" and "load mod" from the main Civ screen... but every mod is different.

yes but i was wondering this as well, once you add it how do you actually play with it, does it just pop up as a selectable civ, is there any way just to add it to the game permanetly with out having to load it everytime?
