Horrible Blue UI

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right subforum for this, but it didn't seem like it'd fit in mods because most of the posts there are about mod releases and such.

I mostly play Civ3 and Civ5, and I just bought Civ4 with the expansions, and I can't get over this one fact, and it's actually enough to make me not want to play the game.
This UI is disgusting. I can't get over the abundance of blue...sure, it's organized nicely and I've gotten BUG, but it just looks just terrible. Blue everywhere, horrible edges, etc. Does anyone know of good mods that would fix this minor problem that ruins the game for me?

You can also try my HUD Color Utility. It will change the color to anything you like. BM has limited colors, but is otherwise a must have mod IMHO.

It isn't that horrible, compared to 's. I think, black with a little pink will do the trick.

I like the sound of that, actually. Thought this thread seemed really pointless, but that idea just makes a lot of sense to me.
