I just got my first look at the game in the narrated preview hosted here and my jaw dropped with dismay. The art direction taken gets all its cues from Civ Revolution, looking completely corny and cartoony. For the first time in my life, I am considering not pre-ordering an actual Civ game. What were they thinking?? I have to date spent over 3100 hours playing Civ 5... I cannot fathom looking at.... that.... for so much of my life. What does everyone else think?

And you think your personal opinion is so important that you have to create your own thread, with a non-descriptive title? There's already tons of Threads talking about the Graphic Style. The majority of people seems to like it overall.

What are you talking about? Civ 3 or 4 was not cartoony and colorful ? It was just a worse quality.
