Hotseat problem

Whenever I attempt to start a hotseat game I get the usual starting screen with an important difference. The arrows allowing adding players and adjusting map settings have disappeared. Also it is impossible to actually start the game. Trying to exit also does not work, or using Game Limits. How do i fix this?

Reinstall?

Yeah, it works after reinstall, but every time i restart my computer it does it again. Basically I have to reinstall after evert time i turn the computer off.

Reinstall and create a restore point. I'm assuming you're using XP. Anyways, create the restore point and see if that works.

Have you checked file dates, see if one is from the last time you played? Then you could just backup that file and restore as necessary.

Or, reinstall, and copy your directory to another directory on your HD (Yeah, I know it's a two gig install). Then copy your backup dir to your play dir.
