How can I modify city-naming behavior?

In particular, I'd like to rename London to something like "London - GP" to remind myself of the purpose of each city... BUT still have the next city named York and not London. As it is, if you change any city names, then the corresponding original city names are re-entered at the beginning of the city naming queue.

I did not understand very well. But perhaps could you change the name of all the cities by beginning with the last all while modifying only the name of the one concerned.
