how can TF or mods tell if someone has two accounts?

It is exactly that, if one person has an account that is banned then how can they tell if they have another accont?

Well. Sometimes it's a really obvious nickname.

Also if you post your IP is logged, so suspects can be compared.

There are 2 ways I think

1. TF does a ISP search (?)

2. The person admits it after say something supicis and a mod pm's them.

Edit: What I want to know is how some one who was permbanned is now back?

Now that is an optimist.

There are multiple methods of detecting DLs, which we will nto reveal to to the minions. The key is we do not have to prove it to anyone, only sastify Thunderfall on the issue.

I assume that you could get away with two logins if the two accounts had different personalities and rarely posted in the same threads. Or alternatively if you only usually post with one account.

I belive the rule is you can't have two active acounts. Like if you joined here 3 years ago but never posted, left and came back now a days, and forgot your password, and started a new acount you won't get banned. Those that get banned most likely are trying to get their ban removed, trolling thinking that they won't get caught because their under a diffenrent screen name, or come back after being perm banned to huant us.
