So by now those as obsessed with the game as I (and not having unfortunate technical difficulties) should begin to see some victories. What was your first victory?
My first game was as George Washington of the Americans. The total playing time (thanks again for reminding me just how much time I've lost to cIV) was 7 hrs, 38 minutes. I won a Space race victory on a standard map in normal time with 5 other civs. They included the Romans, Greeks, French, English, and Chinese. I won in the year 2019AD. Overall, I had a blast. I never had a combat experience except for 1 barbarian. I had 7 cities and I believe I was paying 7 in maintenance at the end. This was an absolute blast, now what to do next...
