How do I install Mods?

Hi,

I'm a newcomer to Civ3 and am experiencing problems in modding the game.

I downloaded several Mods from this site, but when I unzipped them, there were no installation instructions contained within.

Okay, I might be new to Civ, but I have spent more years than I care to remember in the Flight Sim community - downloads there (and there are tens of thousands) always come with installation instructions.

So, could some kind soul please put me out of my misery and advise me?
How do I mod Civ3?

When you download a mod you usually get a folder and a biq file. Both of these go into the Scenarios folder.

Could you define mod? are you talking about graphics mods that alter the appearance of the game or do you mean scenarios that alter game play?

The Mods that I have downloaded so far are Mods to Game Play, I downloaded these simply because they were first on the list!
