Now that it's time to update to cleaner power sources, I must sell my coal plants, but I can't seem to find a way.

IIRC, I used to be able to sell them in Civ 2. I wish I found an easy way in Civ 4: BtS. But do you know? Could you please help me find it?

Thanks.

You can't. Once you have a clean power source they will be inactive, so the negative effects on health will go away...but the building itself will remain.

Does this apply for nukes as well? Say I build a hydroplant in a city that has a nuclear powerplant already, what happens?

I wonder too. Will there still be a small chance of a meltdown? (Wonder what the percent chances are.)

BTW, I just made the 3 Gorges Dam wonder. Why do I still have options to build power plants afterwards?

But anyways, I sure hope the ill effects + meltdown chance have gone away now.

Unfortunately Nuclear Plants can still blow up if they share a city with hydroplants, as I found out the hard way in a PBEM some years back. And it destroyed my Heroic Epic too, while I was at war!

Three Gorges Dam only supplies cities on the same continent.

Thankfully, it's all the cities on that continent shaped like a turkey drumstick near the upper-left, so I only have a few worries left!

When continents start looking like turkey drumsticks, I recommend snacking between turns.

Which mapscript is that?

The version was either 0.68 or 0.69. I forget the name, but looking up the version number might be enough to find it. I was able to choose a 256x160 (i think?) sized map with less than 30% oceans. Also, 10 continents, so that's how oceans look like giant rivers.

BTW, does anyone have a better map script for my next round of Civ 4?

Tectonics with the Lakes (30% water) option, plus add a few more rival civs to make up for the increased land area.
