My computer crashed a while and we had to reset every thing on it. One of the things I am no longer able to do is view flc files, which I want to be able to do. I tried opening it with Quicktime for windows but that didn't work and I have no clue as to what program I should open it with. Could someone tell me what program I use to view Flc files?

Flicster is the name of it IIRC. If it's not somewhere under the Civ3 downloads on this site, I think there's a thread about it in the creation & cusomization section.

I meant to open a flc file with a program. Like wav files open with a sound program. Flicster doesn't work for what I mean as you have to open flicster then selcet the flc you want to view. I want to be able to double click on a flc file and it will open a mocie veiwer or something.

I was under the impression that .flc was a file format only used by Civ3 for units and etc. If that's true, then only specific programs (that have been made to decode it) would be able to view it. Flicster is the only one I know if. If its just a fairly normal image format then some searching should reveal a program capable of viewing it.

Erm, a bit ambiguous and you might know this anyway - but flc's are a generic file type and many programs use them.

Some can even create and edit them, which is why there are so many unit add ons for Civ 3.

Personally I use Quicktime just because I've got it handy - but quite a few programs will let you open a movie window to view the flc.
