I press ctrl-A and get a list of buildings but I don't see the option to abandon the city.
Ok, that explains it. I had "No City Razing" turned on. In the previous version that allowed you to abandon anyway but I guess that changed. I don't suppose there's a way to turn that off after you've already started a game?
Not if they have enough culture to have grown past the initial rung.Thank you! That did it. Now I can get rid of those annoying, seemingly randomly placed barbarian cities. Although, I thought size 1 cities were supposed to be destroyed on conquest anyway.
I enhanced the demolish feature in PPIO in several ways. The list I used to see didn't have icons, so it has been changed since I last knew and that change likely ended up removing the destroy city option. @billw2015 @Toffer90 ?
Like adding this condition to conform the feature to active game rules.Option won't be there if you have No City Razing option enabled (to avoid work around where you could abandon a city even though you aren't allowed to raze it).
Not if you play with the No City Razing option.Although, I thought size 1 cities were supposed to be destroyed on conquest anyway.
