how do you edit the Units_32.pcx file?

simple question- I've never modded it before- now I want to- but hgow do you do this/ what programs are needed?

You need a image editing program. you can use Paint, PSP, Photoshop, and Gimp (free). or you can use anything that opens pcx. files. to edit it you need to open it up and then open up the unit_32.pcx picture you get with your new unit and paste it in one of the empty purple boxes. then save. easy as that.

I like GIMP best. Make sure the file is image>mode>indexed at 254 colors before saving, or there will be a transparency problem.
