How do You Make Armies?

I just started playing and can't make a army. I can Build one but can't figure out how to get the units to go int it.

I get a leader move it into a city and create the army, but have been unable to load or unload units into it.

What am I doing wrong???

Just move your unit into the same stack as your army and hit the "L" key to load or just click on the load button.

Exactly what he said. if you really love armies, get threee then build the pentagon. It will increase the amount of units you can load in 4:instead of 3. Its very effective if you use it right.
