How do you play Civ3?

Do you typically play Civ3 straight out of the box with no changes to the default BIC files and no changes to the art, or do you always use different mods when playing?

I realize I'll probably get slightly tainted results posting the question on a board where there are forums on modifying the game, but I'll still be interested in the results.

For purposes of the Poll, consider things like new units, alternate civs, alternate governments, and things like tweaks to the corruption model in the BIC file as "Rule Modifications".

I use art mods only since they are way better than the original yellow graphics.
I don't mod rules bc I don't think I'm smarter than the designers, despite some seriously useless units. Besides, MP usually takes place with default rules.
