How do you rename units?

This was one of my favourite features in Civ4 - how do I do this in civ5? Especially cool as your units stick around for longer.

I could have sworn I saw that feature, but I can't find it now. Must not be in the game after all. I need to get my head checked!

Units need to have at least one promotion I think.

You can only change the unit's name when you are promoting the unit, in the promotion box there is an edit button that will allow you to change the unit's name.

I know where it is, but I always forget to give it a name when promoting it...
