does anyone else find pollution more annoying than fun? i think having to run around cleaning pollution, then being forced going into the city menu and puting people back to work on the square you just cleaned more a pain than fun, it just slows down the late stages of the game to a grinding halt... instead i wish they could have done something like how they handled pollution in MOO2, by just losing production (and food and trade in a civ example) as your pollution level goes up, then as you build pollution fighting improvments the levels would drop... ok sure this would give the worker one less job to do but i find it really slows the game down when you need to have dozens of workers lying around doing nothing then haveing to send them to clean up your mess... of course if they had a better auto worker who would stand on guard at all times and send more then 2 workers to clean up pollution when i did occure i wouldnt be writing this :)

i do find that pollution is a pain. but in the modern era, you end up having alot of workers and not much to do after railroading everything.

what I wish is that they improve the AI automated workers on cleaning pollution. some turns I get 5 areas of pollution and in other turns I get maybe 3 areas of pollution. Every other turn of so, I have to keep pressing SHIFT-P to reautomate my workers.

also, i wish the computer would send more than 2 workers to one spot of pollution.

Agreed, pollution is a major biatch. I like the idea of just having pollution affect production, then become less and less as you build improvements like mass transit and recycling plants.........
