how long do you play civ,how many games,what level...

I've been playing for a year and more (+~three months),played about 25 games,I think (including scenarios), can win on monarh pretty easy,and it is much fun for me on that level...

I've been recomended to play Age of Empires 2 with it's expansion but it isn't even close fun like C3C.
Do you like some other strategy game,and do you find it as good as Civ?

I think,for me, turn based games are better,cause I don't like to hurry,although can play really fast ...

Kime11...I have to agree with you about turn based games. I don't like hurry either. I like to sit at peace and figure out problems, fix 'em and enjoy the result.

I've been played Civ II and III for about 4-5 years, but I still suck at it Thanks to all tips I got from this page I've changed my playing style quite a lot and can even play on monarch level. Goo me!

Well I got this week Immortal Cities:Children Of The Nile. It's quite large game and I like detailed things what it has.

If you are looking for something different to Civ3 but you still want to play a turn based strategy game, give Alpha Centauri a try. You should be able to buy it fairly cheap.
