How many hours have you played Civ V for?

Just interested to find out. Steam tells you how many hours you've played in the library, next to 'play'.

Hmm, maybe I should have split up the higher brackets a bit more.

But I do it LEISURELY, without job or major family commitments. Roughly 6 hours/day average, with 2-8 days off between my 1-or-2-week-long large/marathon games.

But steam might be somewhat high because there was a time that I'd kept civ V running even when not playing it.

But that could also be offset by a few times in which I played with steam in off-line mode.

I have 2600 so far. Most of that comes from playing the game but I do have to admit that a sizable amount does come from testing my mod. Or at least it does if Civ5 counts time spent in the Advanced Setup screen as time spent playing the game.

This reminds me of a question I had....does Steam only count the number of hours you are actively playing, or just how long you have the game on? I will walk away from my computer for a few hours and then come back. Does all that time get included?

It includes all the time you have the game on.

I don't know, I leave it on a lot. Since my boys were born it's been easier to play TBS since I can pick it up and drop it any time I want without the game suffering much and it's the only TBS I keep coming back to especially since it's easy to do simple mods on. Steam has me over 11K but I'm sure I've only played less than a quarter of that.

I wouldn't say it's my favourite game, but it's my most-played in Steam by a long, long way.
