I pre-ordered mine from EB Games (in Australia) I just got the normal version.

I dont really mind, I'll just be happy if it works when i get home!!

i went to the big stores on wednesday to try to buy it (hadn't preordered) and they didn't have it yet. but then i saw a little store i hadn't even known about across the street, gamespot or gamestop, and they had a few copies more than had been pre-ordered so i got the special edition from them. the spiral manual is great, all games with big manuals should be that way.

Got it, love the soundtrack, but I wish all the songs were on it.

They tricked me, though, covering it in the normal box...

Ive got it, it was the main reason I bought the game on release. I normally dont buy a game till at least 6 weeks after release due to bugs but I wanted the special edition. I like the spiral manual, keyboard card and box. The music cd was a bonus but not something I have much use for or really wanted to get.

Preordered from EBGames but they managed to screw my order and I ended up with the regular version. If only I could find someone with a special edition that would be willing to trade versions with a bit of cash... I want the manual!!!!

Was told Monday, then told Wednesday.
Definately going to be Friday now, they say, maybe...

Sooner or later I'm bound to get something.
Imagine my excitement when they ship my pre-order in time for New Years!
