How much does real life interfer with your participation in the demogame?

My RL/Demogame balance varies quite wildly. Most of my posting is done from work (nice corporate LAN T1 connection 
) so depending on how busy I am there I might be reading/posting very frequently during the day or not at all. At home it's similar since my social life tends to come in waves. At the moment it's comparatively peaceful, so you're all unfortunate enough to be receiving quite a lot of my attention 
, but at other times it gets pretty insanely hectic and I don't have much time left to devote to the Demogame (such as in the last week or two of my Asphinxian governorship in term 3).

While the forum will usually display that I am on all the time, that is just because I leave it loaded on my home computer even while I am not there. Obviously, I do spend a lot of time here, but most of it is from work. I think I actually thought my job title was Domestic Leader for a while.

You places 4-8 hours as 'seldom.' Enen that's alot. I've been on for that much, but its mostly at 3 am in the morning, when no one else is doing anything (except Dis) Tat's all gonna change, since school starts soon...

Well, it interferes a lot, but i work around it as good as i can to be on daily... so where is my option

Q-BASIC is pretty Easy, however, I've heard it can mess you up when you try to learn C (the Language most Pros use). However, personally I've only learned the Basics of BASIC and have never tried to learn anymore when it comes to coding in computer languages, so I can only talk on the little experience I have and what I've heard from others who know about Programing.

where I live, the School system starts on August 28th . For some people also have after school jobs. (I only work 2 hours after school ). But that is not going to stop me from playing in the DemoGames .

I can make it 3-4 days a week for a few hours.
That was why I never attempted to run for anything because I didn't think I could fullfill the job the same as the rest of you could have.
