How on earth.... I don't even? Gold production

Trade Routes, low difficulty, trading resources for GPT, and luxury resource tile gold along with having low maintenance costs.

Trade Routes, low difficulty, trading resources for GPT, and luxury resource tile gold along with having low maintenance costs.
I'm calling BS. Let's say it went like the following:

525 gpt (3gpt per tile of each city*, 20 tiles per city for 5 cities*, multiplied by 75%)
48 gpt (4gpt per traded resource, 12 resources)
150 gpt (30 gpt per sea trade trade route)
15 gpt Monarchy and a size 30 capital.
500 gpt from peace deals*.
200 gpt from religion.
600 gpt from trade network*.

2038 gpt. That's off by nearly a factor of 6.

* is completely unrealistic and way too high

Don't forget Golden Ages. And Sopols reducing costs and the Commerce opener.

Eggads, he must spend a lot every turn. How does his Military look? I am almost 100% certian that has to be a bug. I do not think you could rake that much in ever.

Saw something similar with Enrico. It may be a bug - it only happened the once, and he never had anything close to that in hand although he also had nothing he could possibly have spent that much on if he'd bought every building in all of his cities and a unit in each to boot.

It's a bug in the calculation, appears at some random turn but does not seem to be real. I saw it once, and for all the AI civs in the same turn. Does not seem to affect gameplay. Not a critical bug FMPV.

This man puts Venice to shame. And he currently has almost no money!
...must be spending it all on food and women.
