I'm still supporting Oda. Even Shimonoseki has 15 population. That's a lot of potential fugu assassins.
And what is a fugu assassin?
Welcome to civfanatics! Always good to see new people posting on the forumHello everyone, this is my first post.
I have a 91 population city right now.
Standard size, speed. Prince difficulty (so I could get the wonders I wanted) Fractal map.
I set out at the start to get the biggest city I could, and I'm almost at 100 now, but its getting very slow at growing now. I predict it will take well over 100 turns to get the last 10 population to reach 100. Note the huge amount of unemployed citizens. Thanks to the Statue of Liberty they yield 2 hammers each. Also note that I dont have We love the king day at the moment, because it is a small map and I am at war with the only civ with whalesalso because I'm at war I've lost the power shares 15% bonus. For 90% of the game I had those two bonuses, bringing my total bonus up to 100% food growth.
If I get a bit of game time in this week I will get it to 100 pop and post it here
Spoiler :
Just an update, I have managed to get to 112 population in one city as the Dutch. It was with Immigration mod, so not that great an achievement, but still, that's almost 550 million people. Of course, I was nuked the turn after by Monty. That sent me from 550 million to 75 million. That's a lot of sacrificial hearts.
Here is a screenshot for a size 61 city(I had no mods that affected city growth installed, and IGE was used purely for derp-fixing and mis-click fixing)
(I had won culture victory that turn)Spoiler :![]()
Hello everyone, this is my first post.
Settings:
small, pangaea, quick, immortal difficulty
Not the largest city but one of the most efficient I've built.
I love how the challenge host doesn't think you can win before turn 300.![]()
