How to Buff Georgia

As @iammaxhailme said, while Georgia may or may not need another buff however small:p, it would need to fit thematically and historically, as well as be fun and interesting.

+1 Production to all Mines does not fit any category.

Maybe +1 production on wine plantations? :mischief:

Georgia is hills, right? Mines are built on hills. Georgians are like Dwarves. They're better at mining than other civs.
Yeaaaah, no, that's not how it works. :p I might not be getting a sarcastic joke here, or I might indeed be reading your intentions correctly.

I'd probably double down on Faith and Defense for Tamar.

Considering they have a start bias towards hills already I'm not sure they need any help on mining.

Plus the Dwarven niche is already taken by Gaul. :p

Georgia absolutely needs no buffs. People who say they need buffs either do not play them, or play them badly. If you can find them before they have walls, sure, you can defeat them like anyone else. But Georgia with medieval walls and crossbowmen is a porcupine, and to make them any better would tip their balance over completely and make them simply overpowered. It amazes me sometimes when people look at a civilisation with essentially free walls and doubled envoys and ask why it isn't more powerful.

Just an odd idea that hasn't really been implemented. Every 10 turns all cities following Georgia's religion will pulse with Religious Pressure at X00%. She could be like the Eleanor of religion.
Maybe just +50% Religious Pressure at every 15 Turns because Tamar is already fine. I like the idea of this, though.

What they took away for nothing was the bonuses for the war for the protectorate. Combined with the Gorgo Faith, this would be a rare, but really accurate trick: during this war, you wouldn't just have to sit still, but there would be an incentive to actively fight for the vassal city-state. I do not understand what the developers were afraid of, removing this feature. There were rumors that they would eliminate the complex casus belli, but no, everything is still as it was in Scotland.

About the flavor, that the mines are not suitable for something there... Friends, are you sure that the Georgians are the same maniacs as Sparta, only in the religious side? Like some kind of Taliban, God forgive me. The game now imposes, in theory, pouncing on everyone in the name of faith. This, I would say, is a kind of insult to Georgia.

What suits Georgia in character? Like any other Caucasian people - admiration and awe of the Caucasus proper. That is, some kind of interaction with the mountains. Georgia is also a breadbasket, famous for more than just wine. During the Soviet era, it was the richest republic, which supplied all kinds of fruits, tea, and tobacco to the country's markets. This is really an extremely fertile land with a wonderful climate. That is a good incentive to interact with the plantations.

You seem to be mistaken: Georgia's ability is not the 50% faith on combat victories. That is Tamar's ability. If you are familiar with her foreign policy as king, then you will know that much of her reign was spent counter-massacring Muslims in and around the Caucasus, taking advantage of Seljuk weakness as did Saladin and the crusaders.
