How to change play now/default custom game options

Just want to make things easier for my players. How do I change which options are delected by default in both the quick play and custom game modes?

I'd like to disable by default all revolution mod options(Tech Diffusion, Barbarian Civ, Revolutions and Dynamic Civ naming)

Don't you just change the 1 to 0 in the default tag in file CIV4GameOptionInfos.XML found in the XML/GameInfo folder?
