How do you cheat when you are loosing and about to die???
Sisiutil said:Alternately, open up one of your saved or auto-saved games several turns back and do things differently. This is lower on the "cheating" scale, in my opinion, than getting all god-like in Worldbuilder--since you still have to come up with a winning strategy.
I think we've all been there.charleswatkins said:I sometimes cheat. Yes, I do. I just hate to play for an hour only to find that I have an untenable position (crappy little island, deserts everywhere, no copper/iron...). So I take a quick peek with worldbuilder, and if the start looks OK, I save it. Then I go play some map I've already saved and by the time I come back to this one, I've forgotten the details but I know it's worth playing. No harm in that, eh?

So, I like to go into the Worldbuider when I've decided I'm already "done" with a game. Then, I'll initiate nuclear armageddon or put all of the AI's at war with each other, assemble a huge army of Bears, etc. It's just funny to watch an absurd situaton play out.
