How to delete a city?

Maybe this is a dumb question, but how do I delete/abandon a city?

I built a city 3 tiles from a barbarian city on the outskirts of civilization. A dozen turns later, it revolted and became my city (I was French, which has high culture trait).

Unfortunately, I don't want this useless city sitting in the middle of tundra and ice, and taking up valuable gold maintenance to boot.

How do I abandon or destroy it? I have looked all over my city options, etc. and could find nothing.

Any thoughts from civ fans?

There's no option to decline the flip - suddenly one turn it's just a new city for you to work.

Settling that close to a Barbarian city tho was bound to cause a flip - it should have been demolished long ago to make way for your new hyperspace bypass...

You can open up the editor with Ctrl-W, switch to the buildings tab and right click on the city. Poof.

Make specialists out of every citizen (probably 1) and set production to research or wealth

still the city will not disappear
there was a topic like that previously
the only solutions are:

give to an opponent then raze it
or use worldbuilder ( considered cheating )

hope we see that option in a future patch now that number of cities is important
